Frequently Asked Questions
Why wide panels instead of narrow slats?
Two reasons. A wide grooved panel gives a continuous surface with nothing digging in through a towel, and it reads as substantial rather than utility — the difference matters where furniture is part of the design scheme rather than pool equipment. Structurally, fewer joints means fewer places for water to enter and fewer fixings to work loose under daily use. The grooves still drain and dry within minutes of rain, so you keep the maintenance advantage of a slatted deck without the ribbed feel.
Does the trestle base work on grass and soft ground?
Yes, better than legs. Load spreads along the full width of two open frames rather than concentrating on four feet, so the lounger stays level on lawn, sand and timber decking instead of tipping as one leg sinks. There are no metal glides to corrode near chlorinated water and nothing to dent decking boards. The open frame also keeps the underside clear, so debris falls through rather than collecting.
Is the side table included, and can it be ordered separately?
It is supplied with the lounger as standard and can also be ordered on its own — properties usually want fewer tables than loungers, typically one between two. It is built in the same wide-panel construction with a matching trestle frame, so it reads as part of the set rather than an accessory. Table dimensions and height can be specified; tell us your lounger seat height and we will match it.
