Two details make this one easy to live with on a busy deck. The frame runs in continuous rounded corners rather than mitred right angles — nothing sharp to catch towels, cover edges or a passing shin, and no exposed end grain at the corners where water normally works its way in. At one end sit two wheels; at the other, plank legs that act as a pivot. Staff tip and roll rather than lift 40kg, so a deck can be reset by one person. The cushion drops into the frame recess and stays put instead of sliding off.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the rounded frame matter beyond looks?
Two practical reasons. Mitred corners leave end grain exposed at the most vulnerable point of the frame — that’s where rain sits and where checking usually starts on outdoor timber. A continuous radius keeps the grain running through the corner instead. Second, there’s nothing sharp at cushion height, so towels, pool covers and guests’ legs don’t catch. On high-turnover decks the frames that fail first are almost always the ones with hard corners taking daily knocks from trolleys.
How well do the wheels work on different deck surfaces?
They’re sized for tile, stone and timber decking, which covers most pool surrounds. One person tips the lounger onto the wheels and rolls it — no lifting, no second staff member. On loose surfaces like sand or gravel wheels are less useful, so for beach clubs we’d usually recommend the plank-base version instead. Tell us your deck material when you enquire and we’ll advise which base suits the site.
Can the wheels be removed or specified differently?
Yes. Wheels can be omitted entirely, or supplied in a larger diameter for rougher surfaces, and the axle housing is a separate assembly so it can be replaced without work on the frame. Wheel material is available in solid rubber or nylon — rubber is quieter and kinder to tile, nylon lasts longer under constant use. No MOQ increase for any of these options.
